Design Challenge: Oklahoma City ComicCon attendance is at an all-time low and needs a rebrand!

This project had a special place in my heart as I am a long-time collector of comics, ComicCon attendee, and all-around nerd. When going about this redesign I wanted to create something the people of OKC could relate to. With that goal in mind, I created a design system heavily inspired by the Oklahoma City Thunder(the pride of OKC) who are currently in a rebuild just like OKC ComicCon. Elements from comic culture such as the halftones in the type, the batman
inspired pow shape, and the font itself were all utilized in creating a unique design system for
Oklahoma City ComicCon.
